Matt Kolbe Memorial Scholarship

The Matt Kolbe Memorial Scholarship was established in 2011 to promote the way the Matt lived his life.  Matt's life encompassed four main life characteristics: Acceptance, Selflessness, Kind-heartedness, and a Loving attitude.  The award is given to one or more graduating seniors that have demonstrated these attributes through their application, essays, and most importantly their actions.  The award has no specific requirements for application, however, students pursuing a degree in special education or other applicable field may be given additional consideration.  Matt was highly involved in school activities and team sports.  The application and essays ask for the student's opinion on the involvement of students in organizations such as Special Olympics and the SHARE program.  The Matt Kolbe Memorial Fund has been extremely privileged to provide financial support to many great applicants throughout the years.  The past award winners are listed below:
